Enjoy this hunting and fishing trip to one of Norway’s most exclusive hunting retreats.
Combine the very best that Norway has to offer in the form of the ‘Viking Challenge’. Shoot the King of Game birds Capercaillie. Hunt Moose and fish for Trout on the world-famous river Namsen, renowned as the ‘Queen of Fishing rivers’.
Stay in a luxury, traditional hunting cabin located on the banks of the famous river Namsen, Norway’s finest Salmon and Trout fishing river.
Spend one day hunting for Moose and one day for Capercaillie in the Norwegian Namdalen mountains working with Norwegian Elkhounds. Followed by a final day fishing for Brown Trout on one of the world’s most famous rivers, which has, over the years, been visited by Churchill, Roosevelt, the Duke of Marlborough, Grosvenor, WH Trafford and many other distinguished visitors.
Enjoy traditional, comfortable cabins, superb Norwegian cuisine and wake up to breath-taking Scandinavian scenery and the smell of fresh air.

Itinerary:
Wednesday 9th Oct - Fly to Trondheim, Norway, enjoy a 2hr scenic drive to the lodge through breath-taking countryside
Thursday 10th Oct - Work with Elk hounds and hunt for Moose/ European Elk in the Namdalen Mountains
Friday 11th Oct - Hunt for Capercaillie, the ‘king’ of game birds, along with Black & Hazel Grouse
Saturday 12th Oct - Enjoy a final opportunity to hunt Elk followed by an afternoon of expertly guided Fishing on the superb river Namsen for Brown Trout
Sunday 13th Oct - Catch your return flight to London
