Club Stalk Day: Special Event - The Roe rut in the Chiltern Hills

£395.00
Price / kg:

For those members who do not possess their own rifle, please contact the office to confirm the availability of an 'estate rifle' prior to making your booking.

Any seasoned Roe stalker will agree that late July offers the finest conditions for pursuing the elegant and much-admired Roebuck.

To mark this highlight of the summer season, the Club is hosting a special extended stalking event in the Chiltern Hills, right at the height of the rut.

We’ll start with an early dinner, followed by a demonstration of key Roe-calling techniques. Members will then receive their own Buttalo call and the chance to put newly learned skills into practice, with an opportunity to call in and ‘grass’ a Roebuck.

This remains one of our most loved events and consistently sells out. Early booking is strongly recommended.

(NB: Only Roebuck and Muntjac buck may be taken during this event. Shot deer will be charged at standard Capreolus Club / County Deer Stalking rates.)
